Snowview Miniature Horse Stud
Snowview Miniature Horse Stud was established in January 2000 with the arrival of our Category B Grey stallion, Mountain View's Smokey Jay. His arrival was quickly followed by the arrival of many more Miniature Horses with our numbers now up around 50.
We have recently decided to concentrate mainly on breeding dilute , pinto and appaloosa Miniature Horses but we do have a range of colors in our herd. Our main aim is good conformation - good color is just a bonus. If you are looking for a specific type of Miniature Horse, email us as we may be able to help.
Snowview Stud is situated on a 3800 acre sheep and cattle station (Waitara Station) at Te Pohue, Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. Our stud is approximately 1 hour east of Taupo and 45 minutes west of Napier just off the main Napier/Taupo highway.
We usually have NZMHA registered Miniature Horses for sale most of the year round. These horses usually will be displayed on our sales page so feel free to have a browse and contact us if you see a horse you like. Alternatively if you see a horse you like not advertised for sale please enquire as we may say yes!
We also have 3 stallions available at stud to a very limited number of outside mares. Contact us for more details on these services.
